Autumn into Winter

As the shades of autumn creep across the landscape, the Choir is now back rehearsing in earnest for our Christmas Concert on Sunday 15th December at 7.00pm by which time we will be out of autumn into winter.

We started with a welcome to a number of new members bringing us up to a membership of 60 – this is very close to full strength and so waiting lists have been started again for sopranos and altos although there are still vacancies for tenors and basses.

Our Christmas Concert, in the splendid Mackintosh Church at Queen’s Cross, will feature a wide range of Carols and Festive Songs from Vivaldi’s Gloria, to Scots Nativity (Bullard), From a Distance and an arrangment of Jingle Bells by Audrey Snyder. Tickets will be on sale in November.
